How do you define disobedience? If you seek the dictionary you'll know that it means the "refusal or failure to obey". Refusal or failure to obey what? Or for that matter who? Even Christians, who are renowned to the world with the most zeal for piety, even have the difficulty to follow His ways. For what reason? It is because most of us do not know what exactly the Word of God means. Every one of us are all destined in some way or another for something great. Disobedience in the opinion of Kenneth Copeland is taking the different path God has intended for us to take.

As Christians, we only have to look forward to one eternal glory. That is to serve God, then our fellow Christian brothers and sisters. After serving them, only then can we serve ourselves. Pay attention that there is no mentioned "serving to the earthly things". Because at the end of the day, when the whole thing has to perish, money, cars and expensive gadgets may all be gone but our spirits will live on. So we have to start thinking now whether to worship things that do not last, or the God that will not abandon us should times become difficult. These are only diversions. And indeed that God made us artists and intelligent to craft such wonderful and formidable things, we have altogether forgotten that everything we create and do have to be presented to Him. Or the least have to be in accordance to what path He wants us to take.

How then can we be obedient to Him? Kenneth Copeland says this is a typical question a lot of people have asked him. Not knowing that the answer is already in front of them, only hidden to their own eyes for they are looking beyond. People keep forgetting that for God so love us that He gave us His only Son, and in several times has tried to reach out to us via other medium. We are blessed with the inner spirit that other earthly creatures do not possess. And through this spirit that we could use to link to God.

"I have meditated for some hours, and have not yet heard what is popularly called "the voice of God", does it mean I am not blessed to walk His way and live with Him forever?" No. We should not question the ability of God to forgive and forget. We could sin many times and God can vanquish the evil in our hearts. The reason you cannot hear Him must be explained to your inability to communicate with Him with your purest thoughts. There is nothing more reliable than to seek the Bible and apply the Word to your life. We have the will of mind, but God has the Will of the spirit.

Give yourself thirty seconds of not thinking anything. Then ask yourself if your life has been for whom? Our physical needs are also important but just like our body, our spirit needs nourishment as well? We should take it to the top of our list to nourish first our spiritual needs. Then you could start to realize you do not need any new gadgets or deluxe cars in your life. Kenneth Copeland says, only in this stage you will begin to hear God speaking to you.
